VANCOUVER, BC - In preparation for the upcoming U19 Canadian Rugby Championship this summer in Calgary, Alberta, BC’s provincial team staff will be holding an open trial on Sunday, April 28th at UBC’s Spencer Field. BC enters this year’s tournament as defending champions, having gone undefeated at the 2012 event in Edmonton. The first open session was held in conjunction with BC’s senior women’s program and featured 50+ athletes in attendance. The U20 team is currently in preparation for the upcoming summer season where BC plans to compete at the National Women’s League Finals in Vancouver.
