Thursday night touch rugby for kids! Our mini rugby coaches will now be hosting touch rugby every Thursday night 5:30pm-6:30pm at lower Lake Trail field. It is scheduled to begin this week and will continue throughout the summer. Games will be on a drop-in basis for anyone U12-U9 who wishes to come out and play. On Saturday December 15th, pull out your tackiest Christmas sweaters, drag your partners and come on down to the rugby club to celebrate the holiday season in style! This year’s party will be put on by the ladies team and will include drink specials, yummy appetizers, prizes for tackiest sweater, and everyone’s favorite- gift exchange (please bring $5 gift to participate) If you haven’t been down to the club in a while, this is a perfect opportunity to come and see some old faces and have a great time! The Kickers RFC will begin training training for all Fall 2012 leagues in the next coming weeks. MEN: begin training Tuesday August 7th at the Fall Alders training field and will continue to run Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 6:30. First scrimmage against Nanaimo Hornets September 8th, league games begin September 16th. WOMEN: begin Training Monday July 30th at Lower Lake Trail and will continue to run Monday’s and Thursday’s at 6:30. First league game is September 8th against Nanaimo Hornets at home.
